MY JOURNEY
I’ve moved 18 times in the past 15 years – between dorms and townhouses in college, overseas with just a couple of suitcases, and with a U-Haul full of furniture that I ended up selling upon arrival. Many of those moves involved a new school or job, each with different living spaces, schedules, and time management demands.
All these changes forced me to figure out how to make my home and my routine work quickly and efficiently. Over time, I developed systems to create flow and function no matter the size of a space or the constraints of my life.
In my home, that meant repurposing a spice rack to organize school supplies or designing storage so everyday items were easy to access and use. In my life, it meant building simple structures – designating a weekly laundry day, outsourcing tasks that felt particularly draining, or turning meal prep into a standing Monday night ritual with friends.
I started Homeset Studio after realizing how much time and mental energy gets lost to everyday friction: figuring out what to cook, staying on top of laundry, coordinating schedules, or trying to reset the house week after week.
When systems are in place, daily life becomes easier. Less visual clutter and fewer decisions mean more space for what matters, whether that’s family dinners, creative work, or simply having the time and energy to move your body.
I started Homeset Studio to make everyday life run more smoothly.
Less mental load, more flow.
